Putzmeister at the Construction Equipment and Technology Exhibition!
The 2017 exhibition, in a year of recovery by the construction sector after a tough period from 2014 to 2016, saw the presentation of the most popular equipment models among specialists in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The 2017 exhibition, in a year of recovery by the construction sector after a tough period from 2014 to 2016, saw the presentation of the most popular equipment models among specialists in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Three concrete pump models were presented: with a mix feed height of 36, 42 and 56 metres. Each of the pumps was designed for reliable everyday maximum-volume concrete pumping operations, for feeding purposes on construction sites. The throughput of each model can be up to 160 m³ per hour. Moreover, the lightweight steel structure of the pumps ensures a lighter overall weight, and savings on fuel and road licences.
The sensible axial load makes for a longer service life: thus the 36-metre BSF36-4.16H pump is installed on a 3-axis chassis – the concrete pump is fully compliant with the regulations, in terms of dimensions and axial loads. It does not require a transport permit for public-access roads.
For the 42-metre BSF 42-5.16H pump, also in terms of dimensions, the need to obtain a permit depends on the pump's operating area. The Putzmeister BSF 56-5.16H, with a 5-section boom and a 56-metre vertical feed was exhibited on a 5-axis Volvo chassis – for further improved load distribution, extending the service life of a chassis that is already known for being reliable. Yet another feature of the Putzmeister concrete pumps is the assistance function for operating in narrow sites, which in many models comes as standard. Wherever it is impossible to fully extend the supports on one of the sides, Putzmeister offers the OSS solution – One Side Support. To give an example, using this function, the pump can be installed on a road occupying only one lane, while the neighbouring lane will be accessible to road transport from one side. Thanks to this the supports will be extended only on the side on which the distribution boom is operating.
The stationary pumps segment was represented by the popular Putzmeister BSA 1409 D pump. A high capacity diesel engine powering the hydraulic pump, which generates a mix pressure of up to 106 bar, makes it possible to take in and discharge a mix up to a distance of 400 metres, and depending on the mobility of the mix, even up to 950 metres – a record set during concreting work on the St. Petersburg metro in 2014. The pump is capable of feeding concrete as high as the 30th floor.
Every Putzmeister concrete pump is equipped with an Ergonic operating control and monitoring system. The system saves on the pump life, providing maximum efficiency, often even above the declared level. It can save on fuel expenditure, and reduce the acoustic load of the construction site. The installed EGD clearly shows the pump's operating status and makes it possible to keep track of and prevent pump critical status, while reducing servicing expenditure.
The stand traditionally presented practically the full line of Putzmeister and Brinkmann mortar equipment. Mortar pumps for pneumatic feeding of dry, semi-dry fine-grade materials. The most popular applications of these pumps is cement screeding in rooms inside buildings up to 54 floors high. Auger pumps with various throughputs for mixing, feeding and application of plastics for various purposes, and various preparation methods and locations.
And of course mobile piston pumps used for feeding media ranging from ready-mix concrete, shotcrete and plaster mixes, to poured floors, on small and large sites. It is important to note that one week after the close of the exhibition, the company released the 1000th model P 715 pump!
Indeed, the Putzmeister story began in 1958 with a plastering machine! Putzmeister mortar machines have constantly facilitated and improved the quality of work, on interior and exterior finishes of premises worldwide for 60 years, as well as making your project more profitable from day to day.
Together with the pumps, we presented the After-Sales and Spare Parts Department at our stand, whose experience and geographic capacities have been demonstrated by many years' work and positive referrals from specialists.
The wear resistant materials and advanced solutions from the German engineers at Putzmeister provide indisputable advantages in savings on equipment servicing and obtaining big profits, thanks to the equipment's reliability.
